Roof Replacement in Orinda, CA — CertainTeed Presidential TL Solaris, Charcoal Black

What we did

We completed a full roof replacement on this Orinda home using CertainTeed Presidential TL Solaris shingles in Charcoal Black, a premium tri-laminate shingle with a solar-reflective surface that keeps the classic wood-shake look. The system included CT RoofRunner synthetic underlayment, matching Solaris starter shingles and Moire Black/Charcoal ridge caps, and new filtered ridge vents for balanced attic airflow. We also installed new plumbing flashings and pipe collars to weatherproof every roof penetration. The project wrapped up in early October 2026, and the finished roof gives this home bold, dimensional curb appeal with cool-roof performance.
